Glenn and Beth welcome you to Woodlands Estate House/Plas Coedfa Self Catering  in North Wales. The Property is an original Victorian Estate Hall, which was originally farm land and built in 1840, located in the Snowdonia/Eryri National Park Overlooking the famous Thomas Telford, Waterloo Bridge, towards the Lledr Valley and the Gwydir Forest.

We have owned this property since 2000 and have refurbished and nurtured this historical house over the years as self catering accommodation.

Woodlands Estate House/Plas Coedfa stands elevated, South and South Westerly with stunning views. Well located for amenities, being just a 10-minute walk into the bustling and popular village of Betws-y-Coed, where you’ll find a wealth of local shops, restaurants, cafes and bars.  Train station, Sherpa bus to the mountain range, golf course and an abundance of walks to lakes, hills and the mountains around.   The views are outstanding  of the Lledr Valley and its meandering river and the famous Thomas Telford Waterloo Bridge. Our wonderful little hideaway is the perfect base for a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle of life.

It can be booked out for a group of 12 people in total. 8 persons in Coedfa House and 4 persons in Coedfa Bach. The adjoining link can be opened up to accommodate large family or group. Free parking on the courtyard at the front of the property or for uninterrupted views one can leave car on private drive

Woodlands Manor/Coedfa House sleeps up to 8 people with 3 double bedrooms and a twin room. This traditional Welsh Victorian house would have been the main house when it was first built with its luxury comforts and opulent fittings. Gardners Cottage/ Bwthyn Coedfa Bach, next door/annex to the main house would have been the servants quarters. This cosy, quirky, charactful cottage sleeps up to 4 people with 1 double bedroom and twin. Shower room on the first floor and a bathroom on the ground floor (stand alone copper bath)

Both homes have been lovingly restored and refurbished by ourselves to create a traditional & homely getaway in the beautiful Welsh countryside.

Access to the nearby Stations Leisure, Waterloo Hotel at a discounted price- for a group of 12 persons £150 for all for the duration of the stay. 8 persons £95 and 4 persons £55
